Water Fed Pole Pure Water Cleaning System

Window cleaners are faced with losts of different situations. Some large buildings have nice and easy access via ladders or man lifts. Man lifts come in when there is a large volume of windows or the landscape does not allow ladder access. Some buildings have landscape designs that don't allow a lift to get close or even near the windows. This is where a water fed pole pure water system comes in. Water is treated through a portable system that removes all or nearly all the disolved solids in the water. When water gets on window glass the disolved solids within the water remain after the water evaporates leaving spots. Our system cleans the glass with pure water technology. No disolved solids to remain and spot. It works like this: Tap water is moved through a purification system cleaning the water. The water is then pushed up a pole through a brush that using the water through the bristles agitates the dirt into the water and then is rinsed top down flowing the dirty water off the glass leaving only pure water on the glass. Once the Water dries, there are no spots. Amazing. No ladder, not lift. If you've got windows hard to reach in awkward areas. Or system is the ticket to nice clean windows, and safe for you and us!

Heights

We cleaned two stadiums this fall. Heights? No problem. Ladders, Lifts, rope work, or our special pure water fed pole filtration and scrub system. Early mornings and late evenings and lots and lots of glass. Stadiums are fun and colorful. We get to see the sometimes plush interiors companies pay big bucks to enjoy at the games.

Safety - For a long healthy life

Safety is a boring, annoying word when you're a kid. You remember your mom constantly calling out to be carefull? But when you grow up, it's becomes important. I was always pretty cautious myself. I had friends that were caution to the wind, didn't seem to realize the dangers they put themselves into. They scared me a few times. Here at OTS we have a safety policy and being safe is more important than performing ladder gymnastics. I've been cleaning windows for 21 years and have never had an injury by ladder. Falls are the leading cause of injury in the home. With ladders, a solid setup is most important, and self discipline while on the ladder is a close 2nd. You have to stop yourself from reaching for that thing that seems ju-u-u-ust within your reach, or maybe not. Climbing down, resetting, and climbing back up can save your life, or limb. My suggestion for you: stay off the ladder and let us do it for you. We're the Ladder Pro's! Here's a video of a couple guys that set their ladder dangerously, and the result. Funny to watch, but could have been a bad bad result with no humor at all.

Mineral Stains and Landscape Design

Mineral stains on glass look like water spots. Except they won't wash off. Not without aggressive measures anyway. We can clean off mineral stains for you. The Labor (and cost) is increased in multiples though. There are varying degrees of difficulty based on the mineral stain buildup. Time and consistent contamination increase the challenge, requiring more and more aggressive chemicals for removal. What causes mineral stains? Minerals in the water that gets on the glass. Rain is pretty pure mineral wise. It's the water from a spicket or sprinkler system that are the culprit. We once cleaned the windows of a home here in Fort Collins with heavy stains. The home owner said she hoses the windows off once a month in the warmer months. Oops. Letting the water from the hose dry on the glass 5 to 8 times a year, year after year, caused heavy mineral staining. The same thing happens when a sprinkler system sprays the windows twice a day, May to September. This is the most common cause. Landscape designers, like Architects, often don't give consideration to the effects their design will have on maintenance of the property. Sprinkler placement should not only be based on good coverage of the lawn and garden, but also the avoidance of windows. Wind should also be taken into account. A sprinkler position may not touch the windows on a clam day, but when there's a breeze, the spray can be pushed on the windows and mineral staining will occur, over just a few weeks even. We all love a lush green lawn, but it's less appreciated through stained windows. So go out there and make that lawn beautiful, and keep those windows crystal clear!
